Dress Code

Students must adhere to the formal dress code prescribed for lectures as well as practical session on campus. A dress code enables an Institute to instill the very basic dimension of professional etiquette in its student. It also creates visual uniformity, especially since India is a nation where diversity abounds and each studens is from a different cultural and financial background from the other. This visual uniformity also prevents discrimination and helps in generating an atmosphere of mutual respect.

Attendance
The Students in a professional institution are required to be regular & therefore at GLNAIT they are required to attend all classes i.e., they should attain 100% attendance, due to unavoidable reason a minimum of 75% is a must in each subject to appear at the exams in each semester. If a student fails to fulfill this minimum requirement, as per the norms of U.P.Technical University, Lucknow, he/she will not be allowed to appear at university examination.

Discipline
Discipline is an essence for creating & sustaining a congenial learning environment. At GLNAIT discipline is embodied at all levels, irrespective of it being students or staff-members.All the students are required to demonstrate the highest level of decorum & strictly adhere to the code of conduct.
1- Ragging in any form is strictly banned & is a punishable offence as per the provisions of law.
2- Buncking lectures/Lab/Tutorials/Co-Curricular activities will be treated as a serious indisciplinary act.
3- Any damage/loss to Institute's property will invite strict action and heavy fine.
4- Chewing & Spitting of Tobacco/Pan Masala/Supari is strictly prohibitted.
Use of Mobile phones during classes will invite strication.
5- Mobile phones with camers are strictly banned and will be confiscated if found.
6- Any form of immoal behavior/Violation of code of conduct/disobeying Instructions of Proctorial board or guilty of any indisciplinary activity may result in suspension or termination of studentship.
